Cooking is all about – love. Yes, you heard right, love. If you don’t love your food, and if you don’t love the idea of turning out tasty dishes, cooking just might as well not happen for you. But if you just plain don’t love standing over a hot stove and actually cooking, you could have a slight problem on your hands.

True, you can still come out with impressive dishes, but how many of them – even the simpler ones – will be inspired? To create a great meal, what you need isn’t recipes and the right ingredients, although they do help.

What you need is a love and enjoyment of cooking to begin with. Otherwise cooking just becomes another chore on a long list of chores that you need to perform along with washing the dishes and sweeping out the kitchen.
